MONDAY

3D Art Explorations (7-14 years)

Instructor: Lyndsay Murphree 

Sculpt, build and assemble! This summer we are thinking outside the page. Students will use a range of materials to construct three dimensional art pieces, from clay pottery to paper pop ups. We will look at different artists, such as Joseph Cornell and Claes Oldenburg, for inspiration and learn techniques to make sure their pieces stay sturdy.

WEDNESDAY

Kids’ Hand-Building with Clay (6-12 year olds) 

Instructor: Miss Sam

This is an introductory class focusing on a variety of hand building techniques… many designed for giving your child a choice of projects! We’ll explore pinch pots, slabs, and coils to create functional and non-functional works of art. So many fun projects to take home and enjoy!

When: 6/17-7/29 (7x)

Time: 1:00pm-2:30pm

ANY DAY----Independent Study    NSAL Faculty

Private, one-on-one instruction and critique for those wanting personalized attention. Time is flexible. Schedule one lesson or a series. Cost: $75 per hour.
