Part-Time Financial/Program Administrator
North Shore Art League, a 102 year old non-profit arts organization is seeking a part-time Financial/Program Administrator. The League is devoted to fostering creativity and enriching its community through art classes, exhibits and events throughout the year. Serving the entire Northern area of Chicagoland, the League office is located in an historic building in Winnetka, IL.
Overview
Oversee financial operations: Managing budgets, preparing financial reports, processing payroll, supporting annual audits, as well as other executive/administrative support functions for the organization.
Responsibilities
· Manage organizational cash flow and forecasting. Generate monthly financial statements and projections for board meetings. Provide other financial analysis for the board and staff as needed.
· Process payroll with outside bookkeeper; maintain 1099 records.
· Responsible for all financial transactions that include accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash receipts as required.
· Work with banks and outside tax accountant with compliance and timely filing of tax returns; provide reports for annual audit process.
· Work with the Executive Director to prepare financial information for grant applications and reports as needed.
· Work with Executive Director to help plan and prepare the class schedules; foster faculty communication and engagement.
Qualifications/Skills
Bachelor's or associate degree, non-profit management, related field preferred or comparable experience.
· Proficiency in QuickBooks, Windows 10, Microsoft Office Suite
· Nonprofit experience a plus
Work Hours
The Financial/Program Administrator is a part-time position, currently requiring 20 hours/week.
