We are currently hiring for a:

Part-Time Program Administrator
  

North Shore Art League, a 102 year old non-profit arts organization, is seeking a part-time Program Administrator. The League is devoted to fostering creativity and enriching its community through art classes, exhibits and events throughout the year. Serving the entire Northern area of Chicagoland, the League office is located in an historic building in Winnetka, IL. 


Overview

The Program Administrator plays a vital role in helping to create and maintain a warm, inviting atmosphere at the League. Acting as a “face” of the League in the office for students and visitors, the program administrator helps maintain databases for the school while acting as a liaison for artists’ exhibits and faculty. Interaction with students, community members and local businesses are all a part of our mission to help connect the League to the communities we serve. 

Working with the Executive Director, key responsibilities include managing budgets, processing payroll, monitoring studio needs/ordering supplies, as well as entering registrations and funds received into our database/bookkeeping program. 


 Key Responsibilities

· Working together with the staff and board, help plan events, exhibits and outreach efforts in the community, as well as helping to identify opportunities for growth. 

· Monitor studios and work with faculty to access any equipment/supply needs for the studios.

· Work with the Board treasurer to help manage organizational cash flow in QuickBooks. 

· Work with the Executive Director to process teacher/staff compensation.

· Responsible for taking tuition and donation payments, recording receipts, and paying vendors.

· Work with the Executive Director to prepare information for grant applications and reports as needed.

· Work with Executive Director to help plan and prepare the class schedules; foster faculty communication and engagement. 


Qualifications/Skills
Bachelor's or associate degree. Any non-profit or arts related field experience a plus. 

· Proficiency, or willingness to learn QuickBooks

· Must know be familiar with both Word and Excel. 


Work Hours

The Program Administrator is a part-time, in-office position. Currently requires 20 hours/week.
