MONDAY 

Drawing to Painting (8-11 years) 

Instructor: Lyndsay Murphree 

Paint and draw people, animals, landscapes, and still life objects, while learning to employ the principles of composition and color. In this class, students will learn the process of planning, developing, and executing artwork. We will use acrylics, watercolor, color pencils, pastels, and charcoal. Students will develop their creativity and advance in their knowledge of different mediums.   When: 6/20-8/1 (6 classes) No class: 7/4 Time: 4:30-6:00pm Cost: $228 

TUESDAY

Create with Clay for Kids (8-12 years)

Instructor: Jill Hurwitz

Playing with clay is a particularly valuable activity for kids due to the involvement of working with your hands and the dexterity it takes to form an object out of a lump of wet clay! Using hand-building techniques, this class will give students the chance to experience the tactile properties of clay - while creating their own pieces in a supportive and safe place.
